Public Golf Courses in Denver 2: City Park Golf Course (Under Renovation)

The City Park Golf Course is one of Denver’s oldest. The 136-acre course first opened in 1913. The City of Denver closed the course on Nov. 1, 2017, to renovate its facilities.

Denver’s government will establish a Golf Course Memorial Preservation Program. The public facility will reopen in May 2019.

The Willis Case Golf Course sits on the Northwest side of Denver. The public course has 18 regulation holes and a putting green. Golfers will enjoy beautiful vista views of the Rocky Mountains on the Western horizon.

The Overland Park Golf Course is the oldest running golf course west of the Mississippi. The 18-hole course is close to downtown. Overland’s fairways are narrow and well-bunkered.

You can also get a meal at their bar and grill. The facility also hosts special events and weddings.

The Park Hill Golf Club is located 10 miles from downtown and 20 miles from the Denver International Airport. The scenic course has spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains.
